Dr. Lachance is from the state of Maine where he graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving his B.A from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1994. He continued his studies at the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. While attending college, Dr. Lachance was inducted into the Psi Sigma Alpha national Scholastic Osteopathic Honor Society, Epsilon Chapter.
After completing his residency at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine, Dr. Gerald Lachance joined the United States Air Force as a Family Practice Physician stationed in Panama City. While serving, he received the Department of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and while serving with the 325th Fighter Wing, the Tyndall Air Force Base Company Grade Clinical Excellence Award.
After leaving the service, he continued to practice in the Panama City area as a Family Practice Physician for 8 years until moving back to Maine to work as a Managing Provider at Minot Ave. Family Medicine. He now has relocated to Chipley, Florida to join the local community and provide exceptional medical care with Northwest Florida Community Hospital.
