Believe it or not, more than 1 in 5 people suffer from a behavioral health issue, but more than 50% won’t seek treatment. At Northwest Florida Community Hospital, it is our goal to make you feel comfortable enough to reach out for help when it’s needed. We are proud to welcome Veronica Guettler, PMHNP-BC, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, to our healthcare family. Veronica sees patients in a comfortable, in-clinic setting, providing quality, compassionate care and guidance to children, adolescents, and adults seeking help through difficult situations.
Our behavioral health and therapy program offers both a traditional and alternative approach to care, determined for each person based on their specific needs. Our goal is to work closely with our patients, creating a safe space for each individual as together we explore issues relative to the body, mind and interpersonal relationships. Patients are treated with evidence-based care and interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring that each patient receives the personal attention they deserve, all in a comfortable, confidential environment. Ultimately, we believe in empowering our patients by using tools and methods specifically designed to help them cope, and to maximize the quality of everyday life.
In addition to one-on-one counseling sessions, treatment methods may also include prescribing up-to-date psychiatric medications, or may focus more on lifestyle modifications including vitamins and supplements, nutrition, exercise and/or stress management.
