Veronica Guettler, PMHNP-BC
Veronica is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with a Master of Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and Baccalaureate from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society and Tau Sigma Honor Society of Transfer Students. Veronica earned departmental and university honors and was elected vice president of her undergraduate nursing program. She is an honorary clinical instructor for Walden University Psychiatric Mental Health Nuse Practitioner students and enjoys providing clinical education for colleagues.
Veronica has had the pleasure of providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services for over a decade to children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in both a traditional (prescribing up-to-date psychiatric medications) and alternative (natural treatments including vitamins, supplements, lifestyle modifications, nutrition, exercise and stress management) approach. She believes in the mind, body, and spiritual connection, focusing on evidence-based care. Veronica’s specialties include ADHD, behavioral disorders (including those associated with Autism), depression, anxiety, trauma (including combat and traumatic brain injury), bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and delusional disorder), sleep disorders, addiction, and symptoms associated with dementia. She values interdisciplinary collaboration, ensuring each patient receives holistic, person-centered healthcare in a comfortable, confidential environment.
Veronica has extensive experience delivering telehealth services to patients, improving access to care in a comfortable and convenient environment. She is able to provide the same quality, trusted care to those who are unable to access in-office appointments, ensuring all patients have the opportunity to maximize their mental health care.
In her spare time, Veronica enjoys time with her husband and two children. She finds serenity at the beach and happiness outdoors.
